Kenneth Harris, MD FACC

Dr. Harris grew up here in New Jersey where he witnessed firsthand the devastating effects of cardiovascular disease on individuals and their families. He did his medical training at academic centers in New York working with mentors who were both clinicians and medical researchers. During his training, he found that cardiovascular events could not only be treated, but in many cases prevented.

In treating and preventing disease, he learned that the approach must be personalized. The theme of balance is very important in speaking with people regarding lifestyle change. Medications and procedures can be powerful tools in treating cardiovascular disease, but risks and side effects need to also be carefully considered.

Dr. Harris has been practicing at Atlantic Cardiology since 2002. Atlantic Cardiology is an independent entity with affiliation at Jersey Shore University Medical Center.

In his free time, Dr. Harris enjoys spending time with his family. He enjoys the outdoors including hiking and watersports in the summer and skiing in the winter.
