Peter Lapman, MD FACC

Dr. Peter Lapman grew up outside of Boston and received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Michigan. He attended medical school at New York Medical College before residency at Albert Einstein Montefiore Medical Center and cardiology fellowship at North Shore-LIJ Hospitals. He specializes in clinical cardiology as well as echocardiography and stress testing.

Dr. Lapman practices cardiology with a focus on patient education and lifestyle guidance. He promotes reduced medication requirements and discusses alternative care options. He caters more aggressive versus conservative approaches to patient preference.

He joined Atlantic Cardiology in 2008, and sees patients at Jersey Shore University Hospital as well as three offices in Neptune, Marlboro and Jackson, NJ.

Outside of work he enjoys various fitness hobbies, and encouraging his kid’s hobbies. He is an avid Michigan Wolverines super-fan and enjoys his hometown teams.
